  • Paris, j'adore!

Such a wonderful city, not just in the summer. Food is a big part of it, so make sure you stop by every patisserie & boulangerie on your way.

  • Marché d'Aligre

    1

    Farmer's Market

My favorite market, open wednesdays & saturdays. Even if you're not hungry, the market is well worth going there just to enjoy the busy atmosphere.

  • Marché des Enfants Rouges

    2

    Farmer's Market

This place in the middle of the Marais district gets really crowded, but that's just part of the fun. Go there for brunch. What to eat can be a tough decision.

  • Franck Kestener

    3

    Other

Forget La Durée, this is where to indulge in macarons. They have a store in Sarreguemines as well, if you fancy traveling south near my home town.

  • KB CaféShop

    4

    Coffee Shop

After touring Montmartre, that's where you wanna have your coffee. Great choices on coffee and staff that makes you feel at home.

  • Promenade plantée – La Coulée Verte

    5

    Trail

Nice green spot high above with awesome views onto the Boulevards. Perfect to get some fresh air. Similar to the High Line in New York City.

  • Le Bar de l'Ourcq

    6

    French

This bar is right on the Canal, which is the place to be not only in summer. You can get takeaway beers and even rent boules and chairs to sit by the water.

  • MK2 Quai de Seine

    7

    Cineplex

It's basically just a movie theatre, but they show a lot of independent and international stuff, not dubbed. And it's located next to the Canal.

  • La Marine

    8

    Bistro

Really great food ( mostly french delicacy ) and great atmosphere! Good for lunch, as well as for dinner. Reasonable prices. Definitely my bistro by the Canal.

  • L'Atmosphère

    9

    Bistro

Small little Bistro by the Canal. Small menu, but delicious food. Also, good for a drink.

  • Pause Café

    10

    Bistro

Nice little place, always crowded but with lots of seating outside. Great for a stop after shopping at the marché d'Aligre.

  • 25° Est

    11

    Bar

Great and always crowded place during summertime for a beer or two on the rooftop ( don't eat there ), where you can overlook the Canal Saint-Martin.

  • Café de l'Industrie

    12

    Bistro

There are two cafés with the same name , but both great places, just different in size. Good food there as well. Can be really busy sometimes.

  • Artazart Design Bookstore

    13

    Bookstore

Cozy little book store, with a great range of design and photography books.

  • 0fr.

    14

    Bookstore

Really nice little book store. I promise: you wonder where the time went, when leaving.

  • Arc de Triomphe (Arc de Triomphe de l'Étoile)

    15

    Landmark

I'm not a fan of touristy attractions, but this is a must do. Climb on top and enjoy. This is where you get to see the busy side of Paris.
