On my last trip to NY I stayed a couple of days in Ditmas park, Brooklyn. A great neighborhood with good restaurants, as it turned out.
The breakfasts here are out of this world. Also a good place for coffee and smoothies.
Besides pizza they serve seasonal and fresh antipasti here.
Flowershop and bar. Get the beer + bouquet special!
Small restaurant with good Middle Eastern food. Try the Shakshuka! Mimi's Market is next door.
Charming wine bar with a small but alluring menu. Love their cheeses and charcuterie.
If you're craving one of the best pretzels of NY, go to Werkstatt, a place for very good Austrian food.
Creative American-Asian Cuisine. Happy to see that they only serve good meat, i.e. no added hormones and antibiotic free.
Informal place for great pizza, a favorite with locals.
A little shop with a good selection of wines and spirits.
The Hague. A website about food, people, and places. Created by Tal Maes and Petra de Hamer. Eat, meet, and discover! www.kitchentablefood.com
