  • Rittenhouse Square

    1

    Plaza

Rittenhouse Square is in the heart of Center City. Depending on the day, you could find a farmers market, art show or music festival.

  • Village Whiskey

    2

    Whisky Bar

Village Whiskey has the best burger in Philadelphia. The bartenders do a great job of helping you choose from their expansive whiskey list.

  • North Bowl

    3

    Bowling Alley

Northbowl is a great place to get together with friends for some bowling and drinks. It's cash only.

  • Swiss Haus Bakery

    4

    Bakery

You can't go wrong with anything form Swiss Haus, but the Strawberry Shortcake will blow your mind.

  • FARMiCiA

    5

    New American

There's no bad time to go to Farmacia. Brunch, lunch, happy hour or dinner -everything here is local and delicious.

  • Agno Grill

    6

    Mediterranean

Agno has a host of healthy salad and wrap options, but their homemade sauces and dressings are the real winners.

  • Avril 50

    7

    Coffee Shop

Great coffee and great indie magazines. If you're into niche publications, this is the best spot in Philadelphia.

  • Ramen Bar

    8

    Noodles

Every city I visit, I try a few ramen spots and so far Ramen Bar has the best ramen in the US. Their drinks and desserts are great too.

  • The Barnes Foundation

    9

    Art Museum

The Barnes hosts a legendary collection of fine art and events. It's worth a few visits to fully absorb the collection and layout.

  • Joseph Fox Bookshop

    10

    Bookstore

Great hidden bookstore for design, fiction and architecture.

  • Shofuso Japanese House and Garden

    11

    Historic Site

Shofuso is a hidden oasis of calm in the city. This is the perfect place to relax, meditate or read.

  • Art in the Age of Mechanical Reproduction

    12

    Gourmet

Go to Art in the Age to sample some of their spirits, find some great books and stylish wears.

  • Honest Tom's

    13

    Tacos

Breakfast tacos. Need I say more?

  • Nook Bakery and Coffee Bar

    14

    Bakery

Mike and Edna curate the best local coffee and bake delicious goodies. I recommend a matcha latte and an eclair.

  • One Shot Cafe

    15

    Café

One Shot is a bakery, coffeeshop and light brunch spot. Great to hang with friends, do a little work, or relax with a good book.
