  • Kiran's SF Giants.

Just some places I hold dear to me after nearly 3 years living in San Francisco.

  • Bernal Heights Park

    1

    Park

One of the best views of the city and beyond in a full 360 degrees. Secret tip, there are adult-sized slides nearby.

  • Mile Rock Beach

    2

    Beach

Hike Lands End and keep going until you get here. It's not a warm beach, but it's rocky aesthetic can make it seem interplanetary at sunset.

  • Japantown

    3

    Neighborhood

The Japantown mall is a must for its quirky stores and people watching. Plus, there's always ramen to be had.

  • The Knockout

    4

    Bar

Another one of my local watering holes with surf rock nights, Sweaterfunk soul nights and Simpsons trivia.

  • Iron & Gold

    5

    Cocktail

Friendly bartenders and good cocktails without being pretentious.

  • 500 Club

    6

    Bar

Cheap strong drinks, excellent jukebox and aphoto booth. You can't lose.

  • Bottom of the Hill

    7

    Rock Club

Every show I've gone to here I'm met some amazing people. This is not a Instagram every moment crowd and I love it for that.

  • Upper Playground

    8

    Boutique

My favorite streetwear in SF. It's connected to Fifty24SF art gallery which always has great exhibitions.

  • Thrillhouse Records

    9

    Record Shop

Punk rock record shop that sells vinyl, zines and old video games.

  • Park Life

    10

    Art Gallery

Great curation of books, original t-shirts and doodads. OG shop in the Richmond is best, but there's now a new location in the Mission too.

  • Free Gold Watch

    11

    Arcade

Over 20 pinball machines and they're chill enough to let you bring in drinks and stay past close.

  • La Palma Mexicatessen Molino y Tortilleria

    12

    Grocery Store

A Mexican grocery with some of the best food in the Mission. Sit outside at the side patio tables and stuff your face.

  • Angkor Borei

    13

    Asian

A new find for me, but this is some delicious Cambodian food. Pineapple fried rice ftw.

  • Philz Coffee

    14

    Coffee Shop

Some of my favorite coffee in SF and the OG location still sports an indie vibe. The barista that looks like Jack Black rules.

  • Trouble Coffee

    15

    Coffee Shop

Coconuts and cinnamon toast aren't something you can get just anywhere. This shop has an amazing story behind it.
